Diana says>>>Seriously though. It has recently become law and therefore a crime. If caught in the act the first offence carries a $100.00 dollar fine, the second $250.00, and the third $500.00.

Huh, am I missing something, for doing what?

Lol. Sorry! I was running two thought together without distinguishing. I was referring to texting and driving. It has just become a crime in the state of Massachusetts to text while driving.

It's an offence to answer a mobile here whilst driving, period! Unless its fitted, or 'hands free' that is.

It applies here too Ron, except there is no one to enforce the law, so no-one takes any notice.

We can tell almost instantly if someone is talking on their mobile by the way their speed keeps changing and their car wanders around in the lane.  I give them plenty of space!

In a study of distracted drivers the texters were found to be more dangerous behind the wheel than drunk drivers!!!

Study  also found out that out of 5 drivers who where involved in a deadly accident, 1 was a drunken driver.

That means that the other 4 where sober. So what is more lethal? Drunk  or sober
