You know your mobile has taken over your life when:

Texting and walking

Didn't load for me Diana, is there any more on this story?

As for texting, I can only just about use the mobile for answering a call. I don't know how (the kids especially) are so fast at this game.

LOL!  I'm glad she wasn't hurt, but really folks, pay attention!  I can't tell you how many times I have almost collided with people who were text-walking and didn't notice me in their path.

Oh no! I am sorry you can't see it, Ron. It's a video camera's view of a woman walking through a mall while texting on her phone. She is not paying attention and trips right over a low wall into a water fountain! Lol.

LOL!

If you notice, no one watches where they walk because they are texting!! It's crazy! I see a group of men walking to the store every lunchtime, and they walk together but heads are down and thumbs are in position!!

I don't even own a cell phone!

I just got a voice telling me that the "content was currently unavailable".

What concerns me more are the horrendous accidents being caused by people texting while driving - this is really scary.

In a study of distracted drivers the texters were found to be more dangerous behind the wheel than drunk drivers!!!

Who would have thought that a mobile (they are called cell phones here) would become a lethal weapon?

We had a report of a dog swallowing one here today, a puppy apparently. Maybe I'll be able to find it.

Here you go:

Lol. If you have Mobile-me you can use your computer to set the phone off and find it! Poor puppy. Lol.

Seriously though. It has recently become law and therefore a crime. If caught in the act the first offence carries a $100.00 dollar fine, the second $250.00, and the third $500.00.

Of course, the people who need the law won't pay any attention to it, making it obsolete. It's just like anything else; if you have to be told not to do something stupid, then you're probably too stupid to understand the consequences of such behavior.
