Thanks Mike.  Indeed our thoughts are with him, he is still an amazing man for a 92 yr old and accomplished almost impossible things for South Africa. (By the way it is Nelson Mandela (or Madiba).

Nelson Mandela has been one of the recognized people of the world for what he has done, who he is, and what our world is about as a result of his life and the input it has had on not only his country but the impact it has on the world. Most people have an opinion of him, one way or another, but as a human being, I hope he is able to recover from this setback in health. Age is against him, but others of his age have gone on much longer than he is now...Best wishes n prayers for him.

( I would never argue with someone as aged, ill as he is now....but in good health anything is fair)

For someone his age..his stay was probably one of prevention.... more then illness....he is much esteemed by many in the world. when good world leaders these days.. that can make positive things happen for the better in the world...are greatly needed. Those whom aren't out to rape/plunder their freinds, famiy and neighbors out of everything they own or their dreams..... are meant to be respected.

I find it difficult to give some of the world leaders the respect they think they are automatically entitled to JUST because they are a leader. I think that with Mandela, and many others, they have shown that they are due the respect that people give them, but like anyone else, the respect should be earned more than just a an entitlement.

Good news! He's gone home from hospital. i only hope this well respected man is not suffering. We must remember he is well into his senior years and cant expect him to be around forever, be he will never be forgotten. His memory will live on in the books of history and the minds of those he has touched.
