Excuse me for taking so long to get back to you, Jason. I only just finished draining the water out of my Kindle. Can you get me an ipad instead of a new Kindle? ;-)

I did that one time..".toasted" my portable radio in the bathtub in our room at the Grande Rhonde Casino...well I asked my hubby if he could find me another one..thinking maybe they would have them at thier gift shop downstairs....he didn't return and didn't return...and when he did...he tells me  he'd driven about half way back to Portland before he found one...some 25 to 30 miles. Felt bad about that, but so goes on an weekend night I guess....had I known he was going to go that far, I would of told him to just forget it.  I never win much when I'm there, but the time I took my brother over there, won enough for his birthday dinner, and ours...and the trip over and back...we had an decent time while there playing the slot machines. My girlfriend is correct..if you go there an back, limit yourself to $20 and stop and play the penny machines...or nickle....you'll be there about the same amount of time "visting" with others as you would going to go and see an movie these days. You can wait and rent the movie for $3 when it comes out to the video stores...and there's always the case you might hit it big on one of the slot machiines...the refreshments are for free while there also. One reason its popular amoung the retired...but they have an group of "Ladies" there... that have gotten to know each other just as friends also. Like to meet up  together after an week's working to relax and just "visit" as they play....better then "bingo" playing in some ways...where someone else is taking you time calling out numbers to your spending.
