Good Day (24)

Time for another Good Day thread. 

Wouldn't it be fun to go back to number one, and see what we were all up to, and also see some faces of old friends who no longer visit.

Be sure and pop back into thread 23, as Shirley left a really news post for all of us to read.

It's evening here in the Nevada desert, and it has indeed been a Good Day. Lots of housework, but I did get to talk to a friend on the phone for 1 1/2 hours, which was a great break.

The sun is shining but its still freezing. Still, I look at the sunshine and think of Spring, and getting out into the garden.

 I hope you've all had a good day, though for most of you, it's almost midnight.

Just to answer James and CathyML in the Good Day (23) and 'lurky' staying a while. In fact I did have a look around the site, loaded pictures and commented in a couple of threads so please don't think I ignored you, it happens that I didn't actually read those posts until this morning.

Sunday morning. It's dark and very frosty outside, It's supposed to warm up and maybe drop a bit of snow on us. 

Well, I guess that belonged in the weather report.

I'm looking forward to this day. Always nice to have a new day, and to look for something interesting to do.

I will go to church from 9 - noon, then home to plan a nice meal for the two men in my house (that would be husband and son).  

We're are EAGERLY awaiting news from my army son in Korea. His year is up in March, and we are hoping for a duty assignment here in the States. Fingers crossed!

Looks like we had a big party over the weekend, with Diana (the Forum Queen) adding many interesting and varied new threads, and lots of people popping in and joining in.  It was fantastic.  Thanks everyone.
