This report goes to an lady whom was running her own local chapter of the Colonial Daughters of America. She has never found records on where her William Lawson line was born...she has the birth date though..he came from where my hubby's line did in Mercer Co., Ky. I keep telling her he might... or an son.. be the one that went to Austrialia in its early days and built the first road out of the coastline cities to the interior in the 1800's...but we have been for some time exchanging information in general on the Lawson's. She lives in Oklahoma and was the one last Spring I was in an tissy about when they had bad tornaodes go through her area. When I lost my email server I lost an lot of my contacts in reguard to genealogy. She is the organist for her church and school teacher in her youth. Her last correspondence to me was when for Christmas she sent me an computer program for standing in the center of the Sistine Chapel and "touring it"....as if I were really there. Now there's something "new" for people can't travel due to health reasons. I like it better in some ways as you could zoom into anything you wanted to see up closer bettter, then walk into the next room...HA!.... What they won't think of next. |

Cathyml...an bit it of an playful scoundrel today....maybe the heat is getting to you an bit....most everyone else is wating for those Spring days here to return. I think I might take an walk today if it gets an bit warmer outside. Have an good day! Everyone!!! |

I had a lovely day out yesterday meeting up with an old friend I hadn't seen for 25 years. She has moved back to England and lives in Ampthill. We spent several hours strolling around our gorgeous local botanical gardens (fortunately there was plenty of shady places as it was VERY HOT yesterday), and drinking copious cups of tea in the lovely tea garden and eating cinammon pancakes with icecream. I wish you all a wonderful day (TGIF) and I hope you have great plans for the weekend! |
