I am trying to located the original thread in which Aunt Miya first made her appearance giving sage advice. Lol. But I am going cross eyed tying to find it. Is it possible that it's been deleted?

Not unless Miya deleted it herself Diana. I'll have a look around POE for you.

Lol Diana, When I used to read these I thought it was a 'send-up'! ie someone pretending to be someone theyre not, a bit like the late english comic Les Dawson, noted for his @mother-in-law jokes.

I've just been reading through the Aunt Miya thread (the original) and I have got tears rolling down my cheeks, it's so funny! It's really worth another read members, but make sure you start at the introduction. So very, very, funny that I reckon a television comedy could be produced around it!

Hi Diana:

Just an FYI.  If you type Miya Buttreakes, or the name of another member or the keywords from the name of an old thread into the little Google search box at the bottom of the page, it will bring it up for you.

Interesting, Ruth. I wonder if that's a good thing or a bad thing?

I am not knowledgeable about copy rights, etc. Any one here know what would be involved for me to use any of the comments from Aunt Miya's original thread in a book?
