Outside of the news, of course, I love the CSI/crime dramas (probably because I worked in a state prison for many years). I also like the travel channels and almost anything on BBC America. And I do like to watch the talent shows like American Idol (Sorry, Ron) and Dancing with the Stars. (Cathyml, It's really interesting to me that you only have 4 channels and in another answer you said amusement parks were a rarity. I'd love to hear more about where you live and what it's like if there's a thread for that kind of thing.) When you were in school, did you belong to any clubs or sports teams? |
cathyml Posts: 23275 Joined: 25th Jan 2010 Location: South Africa | Posted at 19:02 on 3rd May 2011 Brenda I should explain that we can get hundreds of other channels if we buy DSTV but it's really quite expensive and the bundle packages offer channels I wouldn't watch - like sport and cartoons. Netball, athletics, tennis, chess, drama, choir. Did your parents allow you to stay overnight with friends and from what age?
