Good morning...yes, Ted ought to go over to Japan..it's rockin and tollin and no doubt lively conversation...hoping it all stops some day for the better. My battery on my computer wants is going down on me right now. Hum...it's plugged in.

Thanks for the idea Cathyml...I have Easter decorations on it right now but will keep that in mind for afterwards. I'm not done with the painting but I can do pretty much the rest of it myself. We have catherdal ceilings here..I needed my hubby to get up on the tall ladder as I'm not to steady these days myself. Things went easy for him and even he commented on it. He had an strip of basket border wallpapper to take off...it came off really easy...one big strip with an little beginning proding to get it started. I should go an see if I can find me some framed mirrors to put on the wall. Two small ones. Kind of finish things off...stayed up last night and took care of the floors......Gotta go..down to 7 per cent power.

That's good news Ted.

Not hiding James - we had a water pipe start leaking into the kitchen cupboards - been a busy day with hubby having to put in new piping and mopping up operations.  Also we have one of the grand daughters with us this week.

Ted were you thinking of doing anything with your thread about January's best pic??

Good idea to conclude the January best pic first Ted.  Hopefully more people will be around to vote for Feb & March!

Now that James has gone and done his vanishing trick again.  Must have forgotten where he hid his Grouse, lol.

Hope lurkey is feeling up to joining in this evening and I wonder where Marjorie is tonight?

Hi to all...

Pleased to report that Chris and Sarah's little Ollie (one of our beautiful grand children) seems fit and well after what was a suspected case of meningitis. He was hit with antibiotics very quickly, they took blood etc and he had a couple of days in hospital but the first test has come back okay. Another result will be available in 3 days time, but it is expected to be clear.

He is running about at home, almost as normal.

Prayers answered...

The rest of the family? Seems we are all on the mend also. Thank you all for your kind words.

Oh, little Ollie. I can still see his lovely little face (not unlike a certain granddad's at that age I bet) from my visit.

I'm glad to hear he is up and running, and hope he continues to get back to his normal self.

A good day here in desert Nevada. Hubby and son home (though son is sick), and my oldest boy in Korea, is planning a trip home in the summer, so happy news.

That is lovely, good news from Ron & you Sue.  It is so nice to hear good news sometimes, to lift the prevalence of gloom.
