Yes, it seems like money "evaporates" rather quickly these days. Except for the big ticke items most of what is bought is less today then it is tomarrow. Sister was in an better mood this morning..let's hope she was just tired. My new little cat is frisky feeling today..she's all over this morning lookin to play with whatever she can find. Good morning...Urmi..Gonul..Sally, Diane, "Aunty" Sue...Ron the POE lurker..James...Ted...everyone else... if I missed ya. Cloudy here but an bit of sunshine today peeking through. Drinking my morning coffee. Stayed up until 2 am listening to "coast" last night...so I'm allowed to make up the time sleeping in. Was doing just fine until the politican he had on suggested allowing marijuana, I sat straight up and yelled.. NO!.. his thinking so the Govt could get revenues off of it...I see liittle kids all the time with drugs...this makes it even easier...I call it raising little "pot-heads"...last week an 15 year old high school student died of herorine at Milwaukee High School.... and when does our Government make an "decent" living? So far they make it off of drugs....getting everyone booozed up to the max..and smoking until the lungs get burned up internally to yucky gray. The lottery to me is "OK"...even if they do take 50 per cent...it's not destroying anyone's health. They supply help for adicted gamblers also gor free. They should do something they've never thought of yet..staying on budget...they need constant money because they haven't figured out to make what they spend for.. non-cost effective. As one call-in said last night they go about doing the things that would make every business insolvent. Need to go an check my seedling plants today also. Maybe I'll have some more of them up?Still working on re-arranging the house also. Just pittering around at things more or less. BBC is cable channel 162 over here. Watched our version of "Dancing with the Stars" last night....Kristy Alley is having quite the time with the dancing but it may be good therapy for her in the long run. Many other ot them ditto also...as others of them have health problems they are over coming as well. Best get going..days go fast when you sleep in...but its nice to sleep in also! |

I am hopping mad at the moment. We have had, for a number of years, a completely corrupt and totally inefficient local municipality. I have heard today that because of their being practically bankrupt it has been decided to include us in the nearest city metropolitan area and it will include a minimum of 100% increase in our rates from next month. We are already facing a 25% increase in electricity from next month - pretty much due to the same problems but including enormous bonuses to the top management each year. Despite their failure to improve services year after year! Greed, greed and more greed! I could spit! |

My neice's baby was flown to Seattle Children's hospital, where it is undergoing test and is due to have surgery. 5 lb 8 oz, one day old and having surgery. Poor little thing! |
