Thanks James, although I did start one re the disgusting Weymouth.....it won't hurt to have two threads!

The public toilets alone are enough to keep you away, you will need to wipe your feet before you leave (the toilets that is).

I might add, it is not Government cuts that has created this, this is YEARS of neglect, especially in the toilets!

I don't know if it's so much a place as who I go with.

Several years ago I took a trip with my husband's family to Salt Lake City (he couldn't go because of work). I call it my trip from Hell.

The whole trip, from the moment we left home to when we arrived back was horendous.

I promised myself that I would NEVER AGAIN go on a trip with his family.

I don't think I would ever go back to BRUSSELS.  I found it incredibly dirty, in places it was disgusting!  Dogs allowed to foul the pavements, overflowing dustbins, you get the picture!  That "world famous" statue of the little boy (doing what little boys do! lol) is just plain humbug and tucked in a corner up a side street.

Although I do have to admit that the area around the Palace has beautiful architecture and parks.

But no thank you very much - that place is not for me.

Luton (Bedfordshire)--a dismal place as far as I'm concerned. Though I descend from a very long line of straw plaiters and hat blockers who worked in the straw hat industry that once thrived in Luton, I really have no plans of ever returning there, even to visit ancestral graves in the churchyard of St. Mary's.

I can't say that I am very fond of Newquay in Cornwall, either. Having visited the town in 1994, I found it to be tawdry and completely uninteresting.

I thoroughly dislike Florida (yes, the entire state, much of which I have visited)--too crowded and too muggy! I know many people who adore Florida (more power to them), but not this boy!
