Sue your niece and family are having such a difficult time, especially since she is still in hospital and her baby is so far from her and her other daughter needing care and attention. It's a hard time for a mum. I'll be keeping them close in my thoughts. |

Mum made the long (about three hours I believe) drive to Seattle to be with her and join her husband. Not an easy job just days after a c-section. They are looking for a fairly inexpensive place to live for the next six to eight weeks, while the baby makes a recovery and grows this extra tissue. Of course she will be having more surgery just as soon as the Doctors deem the tissue to be the right length. Saw a picture of the baby today, she looks healthy underneath all the tubes and wires. Thank you for your continues thoughts and prayers. |

She has a feeding tube in her stomach, which will be there until the surgery in six to eight weeks proves succesfull. Mum and dad have still not been able to hold her yet, which has to be so very hard for them. She looks like she's a little fighter. |
