Tell her to try out the Ronald McDonald House..for the parents to stay while up in Seattle...that's where my sister in-law stayed when Shelly went through surgery as an small kid. It's not to far from the University and they don't charge to stay there or at least very little if they do.

Lydia is a little fighter, but she has a few more complications, this time with her heart. The surgeons need to repair a septal defect between her ventricles and a coarctatoin of her aorta. I should imagine this will take precedence over the repair to her esophagus

I was so sorry to read that little Lydia has more health issues Sue. 

But it seems to me as though she is a real little survivor, so lots more prayers and very best wishes will hopefully give her the strength to continue her fight.
