I'd love to hear more from all different areas. I was trying to think of any unusual phrases from where I live, but there's none I can think of other than on the east coast soda is soda, but in the Midwest it's always pop. Or here it's a hoagie, in Philadephia it's a sub. Then there's wimpies.....Just thought of monkey meat which has nothing to do with a monkey. Some people here use that term for ground ham and pickle relish mixed together. |

Wicked - is New England slang used to describe something that is devilishly awsome, very cool, extreme, or clever, ie: That's a wicked-looking dagger you've got there! Tonic - Soda, Coke, Pepsi, Sprite, etc. NOT TONIC WATER. When we refer to tonic water we simply say tonic water. |
