Eastend boy made good. Big in photography 60's and 70's. Also directed a few films and pop vids.   Quite a lot to choose from . . . Good luck......

Sorry James that would have been much too easy!!! Bailey was arguably the biggest name but not the one I am looking for

Another of the big 60's names, sadly died last year, but still not the one I'm looking for. No more clues yet although there are many should you need them.....better luck next time ! ! !

It certainly is Brenda.......the clue was there right from the start BIG, he was a big man......did actually meet him once, very nice man, sadly no longer with us

Will do, Dave. I've had a fascination with London since the 60s and when I saw the other two names mentioned I knew the answer. Must have been wonderful to meet him. A shame he had such a sad end, but like many artists I suppose. I'll be back with my question in a bit. I have to try to figure a way to ask it without giving it away too easily to you clever ones!
