An actress who moved to London from her homeland in the 1960s, she starred in a cult film and later married a well known American pop singer/songwriter. Her role in the film caused an uproar in her home country that kept her from returning there. |

She made only a few films after this one including a bit part in Myra Breckinridge although she had been considered for the lead role in the movie. She married the singer/songwriter in the later 60s, early 70s and they had some drug problems for a while. He was not a solo artist, but a member of a very popular group at the time made up of two men and two women. He had a daughter with one of the members of the group who is also an actress in the US although drug problems have always stymied her career. |

I was afraid it was a little obscure, but you seem good at getting those. I loved the music in the movie Joanna and also Rod McKuen's work. Your turn if you have time before your trip! |
