I've been throwing out bits of the chicken carcass, generally left over scraps, meats etc and you know what they are coming right down to the lawn to feed. They tend to swoop, grab the food and away, so getting a picture is difficult to say the least. But hey, Ronnie has a cunning plan. I'm going to start tying the chicken legs down so that they have to settle, or at least come back if they want dinner that day! Hoping to get a decent picture soon, and wow what a wingspan they have as they fly between the fruit tree's! Brilliant to see, a programme of re-introduction in Oxfordshire that worked very well. They are now almost as common as the Blackbird in our garden.

One likes to fly over West Berkshire but the local birds don't like it. They fly into him to shoo him away---though he just seems to ignore their antics and coast along at his leisure.
