They called it a contest but I end up wondering where on earth do they get their material from? And why is there any need for the constant flashing, twirling lights and strobes, generally making it impossible to see the performance. Hah, performance could be the right description, what a b....y performance! All it did was to make me look away, but maybe that was the idea, to deflect from the so-called 'singers' and/or the 'dancers' who frankly might be better off lining up at the local Circus for work I think. No, hang on a minute Clowns do a good job, they entertain us! And then the voting.....you vote for me, and I'll vote for you so........ na, na, nana, na to the UK! Thank God I lived through the late 50's/60's and early 70's where you were able to understand the music. It was written, sung and played in such a way that you wanted to go out and buy the records. Today, I wouldn't even turn the radio on to listen to it (I would tune into 106.8 Jack FM but then they wouldn't give it airtime) what a load of rubbish that Eurovision Song Contest was!! What do you think members, am I being too hard on them?

Here, a lot of them seem to have "bring and share" parties and all watch it and have fun together. And there's always the Off switch Ron. Lol! |
