Thanks for the welcome back!  It was quite bad ... but the library saved my sanity a few times!

It is so nice to have a couple of other ladies here this evening - I've been badly outnumbered recently! lol

No Ruth, he has been helping family members who have health problems and I think that has been taking up a lot of time, although he has managed to pop in briefly a couple of times.  I've missed his quirky sense of humour but hope he will be back soon.

Me too, Cathy.  James, if you're popping in, you're missed.  Come back soon, and prayers for you and the family.  xoxo

Hi to all POEsters...

Been to the GP yet again this morning, now on steroids for 5 days and a different antibiotic, b....y cough thought it was getting better.

Anna is still suffering, but getting better at last I think. This has been going on since end of April. GP now reckons that we have been suffering the whooping cough bug, which we both had when we were kids! Can you be infected a second time?

Yes you can, even if immunised as a child.  Full recovery can take 3 months.  Children do not really get it now as they are immunised but that wears off with age.  Have checked details on net, sorry you are both suffering.

That kind of explains the lengthy period that we have suffered, and are still suffering Mick, thank you!
