Having done quite a lot of family history research, I would love to go back in time to meet my ancestors (most of them!!) as they lived then.  I think it would be fascinating.

I think it would be cool to meet ancestors too. Three of four of my grandparents were born in the old country, as they referred to it.  I never got to talk to them nearly enough.  To meet ancestors a few generations before them would also be cool, although I suspect their lives were very hard.

I think it would also be cool to meet some of the 19th Century female novelists, like Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters.  They were cutting edge in their day, when women still were considered property and faced a dismal future unless they could secure "an advantageous match".

I'm not much into history really, but anything about Queen Victoria fascinates me for some reason, so I think it would be good to meet her and find out what she was really like.

I'd like to meet everybody I've met here some day.  In England, of course.  :-)

Oh, yes, Cathy.  It would be like a family reunion.  We've talked about it in the past, but I think it would be pretty difficult to pull off, at least for us foreigners.

You never know ladies, it would only take a wealthy person (not even a millionaire) to make it happen!

So where are you wealthy people?

I wealthy person could build us our own pub, Ron.  Like the one we all envisioned a couple of years ago, remember?
