Three of four of my grandparents were born in the old country, as they referred to it. I never got to talk to them nearly enough. To meet ancestors a few generations before them would also be cool, although I suspect their lives were very hard. I think it would also be cool to meet some of the 19th Century female novelists, like Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters. They were cutting edge in their day, when women still were considered property and faced a dismal future unless they could secure "an advantageous match".
