Some people may no longer be reading the previously established thread, thinking that they know what it is about, and therefore not actually bothering to read my post at the top of the page. I happen to think it is important that your attention is drawn to the following information. The purpose of this new thread/post is to explain that all of those members with a gold star by their name have donated either a minimum of £15, or they have signed up and agreed to pay £2 per month by standing order via PayPal to help secure the site. Either way, a very sincere thanks to you all! In fact Chris and Sarah have given a 'Gold Star' that is Premier Membership status, to all who have agreed to pay £2 monthly on a standing order basis, as well as those who have already donated the suggested £15 in full. In other words not all of those with a gold star against their name have donated the full £15 in one payment, but nevertheless are treated as a Premier member, and I think you will agree that is the right thing to do? The point being it would be no good doing the quick calculation 97 members x £15 = £1455 raised thus far, but even if it was correct, what a pitiful amount to be raised by over 12,000 members! So again, our sincere thanks to those who have donated showing that they do care about keeping POE alive, and a NUDGE to those who have not yet donated thinking maybe, that it can be left to somebody else to do because there are plenty of members. It can't, so please do your bit RIGHT NOW and donate to PicturesOfEngland.com the best website and forum on the net bar none! Thank you in anticipation... As has been said previously on another thread - this is .008% of the members. It is not enough! Have any other members sent in donations? If so perhaps their names could have a red heart/dot/star so that it is acknwoledged that they are also supporting POE ? |

It is very possible that people posting pictures have not read any of the forum posts and therefore do not understand how very urgent the need is. |
