I have just watched this programme on BBC's Panorama, where vulnerable adults suffering with learning difficulties such as Autism have been consistently and violently attacked and abused by staff who were being paid £16k per annum to care for them!

The programme literally showed the abuse, as well as the offenders, who were often laughing and jeering at the poor souls that they were violating.

War criminals are taken to Court for crime to humanity, and that is exactly what should happen in this case, although the journalist did say that Police were investigating.

It seems 13 members of staff have been 'suspended'. Is that all, why haven't they been sacked and hauled before the Courts already where hopefully they will receive long, to life imprisonment for what they have done?

Anna and I had tears in our eyes as we watched this abuse, please God make it stop!

Sadly these appears to be a world-wide phenomena and has made me petrified of ending up needing frail care because of age and infirmity.

Many families have resorted to putting hidden cameras in the rooms of their aged relatives, even in their own homes where nursing care is provided during the day.

That is not what any of us would wish for at the end of our lives.

Some wicked souls (nearly put sods) out there.

Sadly it won't be stopping any time soon. Not even with this exposure, it will carry on, because too many alive today give in to their baser instincts.

People just don't believe in controlling themselves anymore, in many areas.

We had an patient one time that ended up in our place because another facilty had an aide that had slapped her in the side of  the face with an pair of  scissors... when angry... and this lady couldn't talk to begin with. For the most part these days they are simply "ignored" and your right they pay top dollar for their care. Such autrosities are done every day to the elderly. People are losing thier grip on making humanity an value in the world. But never has humanity had such drugs, alchohol and "silent" poverty then we have now also...with such abilty to "lie" also in some cases when i tcomes to the drug cartel.  Police in our area have decided to no longer proceed on the little boy missing from his school last year about this time named "Kyron"...they closed up thier divison on it all. It had to of been "Planned" as quickly as it happened without much of an lead to it...someone planned it. They think the step-mother Stephanie did it...but have nothing to prosecute her on. I'm not to sure, when you look into the family..any of them could of...including his adoring father also. Intel (where he works) is worldwide also...maybe he "owed" someone some money? At any rate...will be just one more of many missing these days.

This is all so sad and it makes me very angry! There was a similar case here in the US a few years back that just made me nauseous to read/hear about.

There was a home where mentally handicapped adults were being forced by the night staff to fight each other. They (the staff) were so vulgar as to even capture the "fight club" incidents on their video cameras to watch later. Through carelessness one of the staff lost their cell phone and the person who found it saw the videos. That person took the camera to the police who were able to track down the owner and thus capture the "fight club" ring leaders.

It was just awful. It made me cry. The innocent victims were crying and trying to get away and not fight but the staff would run them down and beat them to make them do what they wanted. It was revolting!
