It's a huge celebration over here. The fireworks in our little town are usually very well presented. I presume we are still having them even though money is tight, and the fire season is one of the worst for a while. 

Happy July 4th to all American Citizen's.

See, even the English are magnanimous enough to wish you well on a day you celebrate your independence from the crown.

Thanks everybody.  They have a big fireworks celebration here, but it's always too hot.  By the time the show starts it's still about 100°.  I miss 4th of July back east where there's normal summer weather and everybody has a picnic or barbecue at the lake.

Sue, I think today's English people are probably glad that we're no longer part of the crown.  Otherwise, we'd all be moving to England!  lol
