Lovely area, not one I could afford to live in. My problem with bread is once I've got it out of the oven, I want to eat it all up, slathered in butter. |

No one was there. So I have no idea where she's at these days. She use to make the hugmoungust "cinnamon rolls" at one time. Only person I knew worked harder at not having an " outside" job.... then I ever met. I am about to make some cakes for my hubby to take with him for snacks here soon for Scout Summer Camp. One an breakfast apple cake and the other an desert "Fruit Cocktail Cobber" cake... they are allowed to bring thier own "snacks"...and I know how these guys like snacks with coffee in the morning and to munch on in general...around the campfire. ..they should stand up well to the elements also. Doesn't sound like to many are going.... but he mentioned here awhile back that they are low in scouts for their age right now...just the way things happened...and some families they had use to have four boys apiece are now "Eagles" and off to college..take an couple of families with lots of boys/brothers joining and when they leave.... it cuts the troop down considerably.. Both the scout master's grandson and my own are coming up though. In some ways I wish my grandson's freind could join it also. Our troop os so old in this area....soem of our first scouts were buisnessmen of my day...like the old Chevrolet car deaerlship up in Sandy years..Pete Carlson...when I was growing up. that probably makes thier troop on-going about 50 years by now. Barb...so good to see you...stop in more often!!! What have you been doing here lately anyway Alabama bound. How are they doing since the tornadoes last Spring? Family reunion or just an small "vacation"?.... Have an cup of POE's best coffee and we'll work with James on getting him stuffed with fresh warm rolls of some kind....so he can play "Santa" in an couple of months. |

I'm intorducing these to my sister for "Church" pot lucks...and are only $1.98 for 36 rolls. This is living to have these things fluffy and warm...fresh out of the oven. |
