I have the book "The Nature of Britain" which I got on amazon for a pittance.  I had no idea what a large book it is!  Of the coffee table variety.  Very enjoyable.  It doesn't appear that the DVD is available in Region 1 though, more's the pity.  I enjoy watching Alan Titchmarsh.  He did a DVD series on English gardens that was very nice, and I miss watching "Ground Force."

Barbara. Many region 2 DVD players can be made Regioin 1 compatibal if you know what to do (entering a code). If you google your brand DVD and ask about making it multi regionall, you may get lucky, then you can order and watch English programs.

I bought a multi region  DVD player. Amazon.UK has very reasonable shipping prices and I order from them all of the time. It helps my homesickness (helps it get worse).
