It's begining to look that way...this is a little different the the riots you people(England) were having some months ago, but has to do with the same thing....lack of money and 1 per cent owning 99 percent of our country's wealth. They arrested 700 people this last weekend in New York...and dozens more in Boston....and now the call is out here in Portland for an protest this Thursday. What was it I was told today...if your sent to jail, no Social Security check until your out of jail...though that may be more in criminal cases then in protest arrests. I am listening to Howard Bloom tonight on "coast"...he says that this is not the group that wants to take an candy bar out of an 7/11..or break an window and steal an TV set. This is about making our system an self correcting system...because the higher authority groups are not doing their job...they are stuffing their own wallets. He says people want their politicans to start acting like public servants, as that's why they were voted for to begin with. I only hope the people are not playing into the hands of the "New World Order". Yep, everyone's upset about the hand outs to people that shouldn't be getting them.

Same the world over isn't it Shirley?

And as for your one per cent owning ninety nine per cent of your country's wealth, think yourself lucky, they sold our silver years ago and we now own nothing!

I know what you mean of course but there is so much wrong in our beautiful country today including criminality and immigration, that never was the case 50 years ago.

Then there's the Euro...huh, don't get me started on that!

Lets just get OUT of Europe eh, what do you think members?

Mind if I ask you where the "Euro" idea went sour ?...as I thought it was originally set up to combine wealth for an better position in the world arena of investments. I know where our bankers went wrong...they took on more then they could afford...and thought by the simple reasoning of upping interests rates they could make themselves wealthy..that got the housing contractors to do much the same...in the end they both had increased thier costs until no one could afford the housing or the loans. When the employee lay offs started and the wage cuts to the workers...people couldn' t make their loans as they stood. They were destoring the older houses in many areas to force people into buying their over priced, low quality houses also...they were selling at "top dollar". I look down the street from me and see them built in an "clump" with barely the room to walk between them....with hardly enough room out back for an picnictable and BBQ...and know they were built with glued together pieces of wood chips...and they say from 20 years now...let one catch on fire with this aged "glue" and it will be an tinder box. those folks, ironic as it sounds, come out into the country wanting to get away from city life and do all the things the same as if they were still in the city....living dowtown streets of Portland amid row housing. But that is another subject.

Everyone is talking about last night's "coast" show...because as was pointed out...this protest was not done downtown where people could break through retail windows to steal...it took place on the BrooklynBridge...the cops got one end of it in thier cars and herded them to the other end, where they arrested 700 people. Since then, the Teamster's Union shown up in support, the Steelworkers union showed up in support...some of the billioniares themselves, some Hollywood personailties. How our businessmen thought they could take our factories out of the country and the people have money from being unemployed to buy their products is beyond me. This is bascially what this is all about. Not to mention that most the people are wondering where the "taxes" are coming from to support non-working people at the Government level is coming from also. Especially if the truly wealthy are not paying an bit of taxes from al the deductions they get...and the poor aren't holding their own either, let alone others. Somebody is lying so as to say. We'd like to know the truth....the honest truth. Many of us want to know if we have been "infiltrated".. from within... as an country also. There is something very wrong when the people are not being represented any longer... no matter whose in office. Some are not even sure if the protests are not the making of the "New World Order".  I just read an statement in another web site by the Mexican Govt. in an raly in Los Angelas sometime back..according to their countries law's just because their people cross the borders...they are still Mexicans by nationailty,,and are subject to "protection" even in thier illegal status. In this rally they were asking the "old white people" to get use to the fact that they plan to stay and work and live as they please unhindered....but their ranks along in Los Angleas costs to the tune of 60 million dollars of those old white people's wages to support them in medical care yearly. As one guy said...these are people not wanting to go through naturalization laws...to become an permanet ciitzen. They are breaking the law. Ou rpoliticans in the meantime, for "cheap" labor practices encourage them and help them...because they own the businesses that see thier own king going without and simply do not care! It' s like turning on your brother to see the blood flow. This is the question...do we have an USA based on the priciples of our constitution from teh past..or has it become an "free for all" if yourthe one cheated your way to the top?....opps..".worked", to get your self in the ruling sector of society. Except for the struggles dishonestly...I doubt that your really learned anything about helping others to help you...let alone your country. It ought to be interesting...more cities then just Portland is involved this week and these protestors don't plan on quitting until something is done....the police will make an big difference as to how violent this gets. But I think everyone should know these people were on an bridge...where people coould not tear up their neighborhoods as they protested.

I see my speller  idiot....came back in on me...hum. Interference.!  I guess I should not care...as after all, as of yesterday..we are officially retired, though we can't afford to retire. I may be an "old white person" but try to shoot me... and I'll shoot back...just as soon as I can afford an gun....which the hispanics arm themselves over here like they are in an undeclared war....and I don't see where anyone wins in that kind of an situation. We can't go down there to help them in tourism if we are expected to get out life snuffed out and our heads chopped off in the process. I resent them doing things like they did down there, up here and creating what's down there, up here...as it is.If you don't want what you left...then change. That means, get rid of the weapons, and the drugs...and the violent ways.  Learn to work with your peers around you...an good person is an good person reguardless and good people go further in life.  they may not be the wealthiest, but they have "God" backing their goodness.

They covered the protest yesterday...of 5,000 to 6,000 on the news with the media interviewing teachers and college students....hardly the everyday "working" class of people...... It was orderly and well maintained and no out of the usual stuff going on. It might be just another set up to get an Obama agenda passed through...the one out here was not about the crooked bankers like back  east...it was about equal distribution of jobs and economic liveabilty for everyone. It's hard to never see those teachers anywhere not protesting if they have to give an inch in anything to give up...if  they are involved in it...and the Hispanics are just like that with thier low income "free" society hand-outs also. So I think it's going to be for the most part just another "lie" as to the real agenda of  an better living status for the working class people. "Politics" again as to whom can scream the loudest..with the most backing to do so.

Well, I;m back here...since I first posted here...there are now 250 cities across America in an "constant" protest going on...and the protesting seems to be spreading globabbly now also. Of the group calling them 99 per cent of americans that average medium wage for them right now is $37,000 per year...while the average 1 per cent is averaging one million an year, not counting bonuses an severance pay they are getting hopping from corporation to corporation. Is there discrimination going on...you bet there is. Jerry Brwon, Govn of California passed an bill to allow 37 million dollars to illegal immigrants for college tuitions....yet theri state is about to fold up over all....Oregon State University...gave their senior teachers an $4,000 pay raise, every college in the state is saying...and how about us...but their budget problems are over welming also right now. It amkes you wonder what "backer" slipped whom the money for this "bonus" of extra wages this year. Their over budget go back to the tax payers or the students struggling to pay tution. Well, at any rate an " homeless" camp is now setting up amid buildings in "Chinatown" tonight downtown Portland...in an parking lot.
