Haven't seen much around my apartment lately but heard a nice flock of canadian geese flying over this evening. Quite loud they were but lovely to hear. Smile

Thank you Ruth, I recieved both of them.

I was just worried that you might not have recieved them, seeing I've been having problems.

A turkey vulture actually soared over my neighbor's house this morning and then landed on top of a light pole and proceeded with preening.  Yuk, wouldn't like to have to preen those feathers.

Cathy, I think where you are is in the main flight path for the Canada geese migration.  I used to love to lay in bed and listen to them fly over at night.  That's one thing that I miss about living back east.

Autumn is definitetly here. I saw a Spotted Towhee under the lilac bushes.  I hope he stays around all winter, as its a real treat to watch them.

When I got home from work, some mangy ginger cat was sitting right where I saw the Towhee. I ran out and chased it off. I swear, I'll shoot the devil if it kills my Towhee.
