Yuk, wouldn't like to have to preen those feathers. Cathy, I think where you are is in the main flight path for the Canada geese migration. I used to love to lay in bed and listen to them fly over at night. That's one thing that I miss about living back east.

I hope he stays around all winter, as its a real treat to watch them. When I got home from work, some mangy ginger cat was sitting right where I saw the Towhee. I ran out and chased it off. I swear, I'll shoot the devil if it kills my Towhee. |
