I say think yourself lucky you have a decent job and a decent pension in place already! The private sector would love to have a similar deal. In short I say go on strike you greedy b......s! There are 252,000 migrants waiting to take your job. Yes 252,000 of them managed to swell the numbers on this comparatively tiny Island (and thats the number we are told that came in legally). GREEDY PUBLIC SECTOR WORKERS! It will cost the Country some £500 million so where do you think any more money might come from? I will gladly stand the disruption so that you don't profit from your threats. |

Public Sector pensions are huge compared to normal yet any attempt to bring them even remotely in lone with the real world is met with hostility. Frankly, given the low level of public service we get in this country I would be happy if they sacked every striker. And stopped their pension. They want reforms but not to them. Typical NIMBY attitude. Andy |

Thousands out there would jump at the jobs irrespective of pensions and all the other perks the idle b******s get. Most public sector jobs or overstaffed anyway, and they can't get rid of people cos it wouild cost too much with the ridiculously enhanced redundancies they have agreed to. I'm with Andy sack the bloody lot of them and start from scratch......surely it could not be any worse! ! ! |

Fact: The strike was organized by the Unions BEFORE any negotiations were under way, so a message from me to the strikers... I say "carry on, because we the genuinely underpaid, will put up with the misery you cause for now you idle, money grabbing b......s! Keep digging because we all know where you will end up sooner or later and then it will be good riddance, join the real world, pick up your benefits that you also will be paid, but no doubt about it this country will be better off without you, quite literally"! |

Miliband adds his usual useless two penneth, but it was his lot that got us into this mess, his lot that gave them the wages, pensions etc so no good you bellyaching Miliband! I say go on strike Public workers..... and lose your jobs soon after! |

(Politics Show today). They also just said if Labour were in Government "we would be sat down talking to the Unions". What do they think Cameron has been doing, and I might add, long before the vote to strike was called. Yippeee, lots of jobs coming in the Public Sector soon!!
