It's a BMC Service, British Leyland, Rover, BMW job coming eh Dave? Same happened there, three or four men/women doing the work of one (20,000 plus workers in Cowley at one time).

What happened, they fitted the place out with robots and now there might be 3,000 workers, and some of them are agency workers, so not employed on a fulltime basis and they can be given the order of the boot at anytime.

It's coming you greedy b......s!

Anyone seen Jeremy Clarkson on the One Show yesterday? He had some heavy statements about the strikers.

Have a few reservations about Clarkson but have to say he was brilliant last night. Like his attitude . . . he don't give a s**t just says what he thinks and hit the nail a few times last night. Got the impression that stoopid girl wasn't too sure how to take his remarks. Susannah would have handled him better ! ! !

it would be very interesting to see how much the leaders of this strike are going to get for their pensions.

i was very fortunate in my working life-i was only in a union for ten yrs and in that ten yrs they did nothing for me --i had a really bad cut aged 19 and  they refused to look in to my case because i was working in my dinner hour i did get compesation but should have got more.--unions --no thanks.

I think the basic principle of the union is good, but it's militant a***holes that get to run them that go off the rails. They get a bit of power, get their mates along side them and browbeat 'Joe Public' into doing whatever they want. Not for me thanks
