Allows people to discuss it I think also. Earthboppin is as big over there as POE is here...it's an spin-off of Jim Berkland's original earthquake site. But an bit different format of it's own..has evolved within it....lot of arguing these days is taking its luster from it. To much piddly nonsense. The owner (Ryan) is one nice guy most the time...don't let to many get the goods on him. Handles the site himself...where Jim Berkland left it up to an separate "web master" to take care of it for him. Jim's primary thing is his monthly newsletter...I think he said he's been doing it for over 20 years now. Him and I talk an lot on archeology and send stuff back and forth.. as he's an geologist also. When he was younger they use to have "tours" for natural geological features...and he gave tour guides on the scenery. If we can't repeat the "news" out there...we are all one sad bunch of people on planet earth...gonna be real "stupid" in the days to come also...with biggotery over taking the news in general... for lack of opinion being allowed. . |
