tricky question

The mission, lawrence of Arabia, the english patient an Dr Zhivago are my top movies

It depends of course what kind of movie. Doc Hollywood is my all time smooch movie. The notebook is also note worthy

War movies, westerns and old classics are different lists

I'm the party pooper here because I don't have a single film that I could say I liked, or watched for that matter. Don't even watch the television unless I'm tied to the chair! lol

I bet plenty are saying crikey what a boring old git, but I just can't settle down to watch a story, something that somebody has made up, much prefer listening to Radio 2 and the music of 1958/70 being played.

Anyway, carry on listing your favourite 3 films.

Gone with the Wind

I like Pride and Prejudice, too, Gonul, except I prefer the 1995 version with Colin Firth as Mr. Darcey.

For comedies - probably Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

If I'm not mistaken, the star of the show, Vivien Leigh, was English.

LOL.  Now that you mention it, I do remember Ashley Wilkes having a British accent rather than a southern drawl.
