Don't know where they got that from and haven't checked it out, but strange that we celebrate Valentines Day as we do. Anyway, hope you all had a great day! |

Anyway, the reason being was to increase his army of single men. But he found out a priest Valentine was marrying single men and had him jailed and executed. To embelish the story more, he was then attributed to writing the first Valentine card prior to his execution. Your version above attributes him to marrying Christians rather than single men. Thus, you can choose which version your prefer. |
