Clearly I need to lay off the vodka and tonics after a day in the sun. If nothing else, the rest of the world will think we are all completely off our rockers. :-D |

Never watch opening ceremonies.....waste of money and usually totally boring and nothing to with the impending sport. Apart from the fact that the sport actually started on Thursday I think????? Whats all that about. |

Posts: Joined: 1st Jan 1970 | I did not watch it and will not watch one second of this money wasting farce. A Tory MP has complained that it showed acts regarding the Jarrow hunger marches and the birth of the NHS. He said it was too "leftie" !!! Of course he has been forced to say sorry. Now he is trying to spin his way out of it. Does anyone require further proof that : (a) The Tories do not want the NHS (B) The Tories despise the working classes.
