Happy Birthday Paul! 

I thought of you yesterday at four (your midnight) and knew someone would beat me to posting your birthday wishes. I was somewhere between Ft. Lewis, Washington and Oregon on an epic journey home from dropping my son off.

I hope you have had a SUPER brithday, and that the year ahead holds many special moments.  

Oh, ho...on the cake...it reminds me of my aunt Velda many years ago..I called her up and asked her how she was doing, and she was into everything back where they lived (Social clubs) and she said...just got my fourth birthday cake and can't eat but maybe one tiny bit of one of them..what do I do with all these cakes?...I told her to donate them to various public and private schools..for lunch time and special events. She said it was an good idea maybe. I said it sure helped out the mom's with kids that need cakes. My last cake I made, I had an torch type "veggie oil" kind of torch candle in one corner and all around the cake... plasticized sports cards of those in the Olympics...they auctioned it off in "Scouts" for $32....about 20 years ago....as an fund raiser. So...Happy Birthday Paul!...even if I am getting in here an bit late tonight....and everyone has pretty well given the good wishes and sentiments for the coming year.
