At best there is only a very slack handful of us. Have to get my thinking cap on while I'm away. A few more discussion topics like we had recently wouldn't go amiss |

Except I wondered whether it would be worth starting one for "My favourite holiday spot" or "Best Day Trips" where people could share their experiences and thoughts on different places in England they have enjoyed visiting. |

Have to see what we can do to get it started. probably won't have much time next week unless it rains but as indicated elsewhere I want to ressurect my Lakeland travelogue as that seemed well received last year. |

Thanks James for trying to encourage more into the forum, it certainly would be helpful to all concerned, but for my part know that every new member gets an email from me explaining what is available from within POE - so I agree it is a little surprising that more don't join in. But you know what? According to one database constantly analyzing websites POE and the POE pages being viewed are actually nearly 4 times more popular than the official England website! Also POE is ranked higher in both the UK and the Worldwide figures, so it is very surprising. Anyway thinking caps on eh? I've got one that will be made public soon about the scumbag of a warden who has informed residents yet again, that they can only put one black bin liner full of rubbish in the site skip per fortnight (due to cost) and that they will install cctv to monitor the skip and the activity around it. Monitor a skip? Pathetic, and what about the cost of the cctv installation? I know this isn't the purpose of this particular thread, but could you fill a black bin liner with rubbish, grass cuttings, rose bush trimmings (with thorns etc) and then lift it? The point being it would be heavy for the average person let alone retired persons with ill health, and would surely tear in any case. So in reality it is more likely to be a third of a black bin liner due to the fact that it cannot be lifted without it tearing, that is if the person concerned could lift it in the first place. This scumbag and the site owners have to be dealt with! |
