Surgery was yesterday morning. The surgeon seemed pleased that he removed all of the mass and said he couldn't see any more. He also removed lymph nodes. Both have gone off to pathology, and hopefully results Monday or Tuesday.

No sleep for two days and a two week liquid diet followed by 'nil by mouth' have left me terrible washed out.

Surgery site feels good though I have not seen it. Went for two walks around the hospital  corridors, the second walk much easier than the first.

Still feeling upbeat, knowing that the love, prayers and good thoughts of all of you and others makes all the difference.
