Just been reading of another High st chain to close and it dont come as a surprise  H-M-V.

I have had a lot of good material from various stores mainly in Southport but lately their attitude has changed a lot with the take it or leave it trend.

Not a shop I used often, but still a shame to see another one go..........and it's only halfway through January.....not a good omen

Have you tried Black Grouse.....a mate bought me small set of miniatures for xmas and one was Black Grouse. Just sampled it and by hell it's a good 'un. Grouse blended with some of the peatier Island whisky's.......well recommended....gonna buy afull bottle at weekend if it ain't too pricey.....

I think you right there, but well worth getting a bottle I think along side the Grouse.......I like the peaty Island taste. Loaphraig is one of my top 3 malts....really strong peaty taste.

I know we're supposed to be talking HMV, haven't been there in years, still sad to see another high street store go, but, back to the Grouse, has anyone tried the Snow Grouse ? I believe it's best served from the fridge or freezer, it keeps catching my eye in Adsa. Just wondering Smile
