Can only hope members are not involved in this tradegy that cost two lives it seems.

Pilot was from Reading apparently, lots of injuries also.

 Near enough for it to be on local news but still quite a way from leafy Surrey. A real nasty event for all caught up in the accident, thoughts and prayers for all affected, quite a trauma even for those that witnessed it.

Certainly shocking and sad news when it appeared today. The pilot was Capt Peter Barnes who got his helicopter licence in the US many years ago with over 12,000 flying hours todate. Had worked with several air ambulance operators on many rescue missions helping to save quite a few lives in his career.  It also included helicopter film work on such films as Die Another Day and Tomb Raider II.

He lived in a village near Mortimer south of Reading.
