A real nasty event for all caught up in the accident, thoughts and prayers for all affected, quite a trauma even for those that witnessed it. |

The pilot was Capt Peter Barnes who got his helicopter licence in the US many years ago with over 12,000 flying hours todate. Had worked with several air ambulance operators on many rescue missions helping to save quite a few lives in his career. It also included helicopter film work on such films as Die Another Day and Tomb Raider II. He lived in a village near Mortimer south of Reading. |
