The thing is the bookmakers have taken his money whilst he was losing, but the minute he started winning they shut his account down! How can this be right? Surely if you are in the business of taking bets (a Bookmaker or Turf Accountant as they are known) you take whatever the public throws at you, don't you? You change the odds accordingly, isn't that the way it works? Any members have a bet and been caught out like this? I think it's time we started on the Bookmakers like the Banks, not a lot to choose between them I say, all crooks eh? |

They don't like it 'upem' do they Capt Mainwaring? lol |

Eventually, the bookmakers refused to accept his bets so he stopped gambling and found a new occupation.I'm surprised he didn't move to another city where the bookmakers didn't know him.He could have hired an accomplice to place his bets. The bookmakers should have accepted his bets but they didn't want to go bankrupt. They had families to feed and mortgages to pay.I don't bet. Casinos protect their profitability by banning card counters and cheaters. Edited by: Ken Marshall at:4th February 2013 01:38 |

I do not get an lot of an chance to do much of that either. So I don't worry about winning most of the time. It's just nice not to be an loser. Life is hard enough as it is some days. |

All these people who say they have won brag about how much they win never tell you how much they have lost. |
