This is the entrance gates to Chirk Castle in Wrexham, Wales

They were originally painted white, then black during WW2 and recently repainted white again!

  That is poor show on my part !! Stood by these last year when I took a shot of the factory chimneys ( POE id 1159152 ), even though as Cathy says they are white now should have remembered them-- slap wrist !!!Embarassed
