Vince Hawthorn Posts: 12758 Joined: 19th Apr 2010 Location: UK | Posted at 23:21 on 17th April 2013 Lacock is one magic village, a real time bubble and if my memory serves me well there are no yellow lines as they are not in keeping. I did actually stay in Lacock for quite a few months while I was working on a large survey of the then underground storage areas for the M.O.D. in the old Bathstone mines. I stayed at the " Carpenter's Arms" where for those few months we became part of the locals, they be the times. Lacock has been used for filming on many occasions and as well as Harry Potter a major production of Pride and Prejudice and Cranford with Dame Judy Dench ( an old customer when I was at the Horley Shop) to name just a couple. |

The only ones I can find so far are in the Yorkshire Dales but I haven't found a match for these ones yet! |
