I wonder if these two could be at the Blists Hill Victorian Town when it was being reconstructed?  It's also in the ironbridge gorge!  Which is a World Heritage Site by the way!

I think your right Cathy, this might be the steam traction engine photographed from opposite side, what do you think?

The metal structure and machinery have a similar look to this reconstruction at the Visitors Main entrance, if you were looking from the back of the building out of the open frontage!

Blists Hill opened in it's present form in 1973 which would probably tie in with the date of the other photo of the work going on, Roberts photo's seem to be of the late 1960's early 1970's.

I'm quite fancying a visit to this place.

  This is the Bedlam Furnaces located on the banks of the Severn between Ironbridge and Coalport. It was used by the Madeley Wood Company and subject of the famous painting by Philip James de Loutherbourg " Coalbrookedale by Night "
