rustyruth Posts: 18773 Joined: 23rd Oct 2012 Location: England | Posted at 15:43 on 13th May 2013 I've just been having a closer look at this one, if you zoom in there are some cliffs in the background which look very similar to The Needles, I was at first thinking this picture might be taken in the Hornsea, Skipsea area of looking towards Flamborough chalk cliffs but now I'm not sure. There are no sea stacks off that particular area of Flamborough. I'm going to have a look around some I.O.W photos. Picture by Robert Hanley

It doesn't feature in East yorkshire either, but that means nothing it could have been reclaimed by the sea since Robert took this photo. |
