Will anybody notice?

Apart from missing Susanna Reid I can't really say it will make a lot of difference to me, what say you members, what do you watch BBC, SKY, ITV ?

Apart from John Humphrys' probing interviews on the 'Today' programme, and Rabbi Lionel Blue's Jewish Jokes on 'Thought for the Day', there is not a lot I will miss.

I watch very little TV since most of it is garbage.

We don't watch much TV so I don't think I'd miss the BBC. For me they ought to make all the people redundant who are responsible for those awful reality & so called tallent shows, and soaps for that matter, utter tosh the lot of it.

We got rid of Sky a couple of years ago because it was costing a fortune and there was not much worth watching, we now have Freesat using our old Sky dish, there's still not much on but at least the box was just a one off payment.

Reminds me of something Stephen Fry said on QI (BBC2) about Peter Bazalgette, the man who brought us Big Brother. Peter Bazalgette is a descendant of Joseph Bazalgette, the man who devised the London sewer system circa 1870.

Stephen Fry noted the irony in the fact that  Bazalgette's ancestor devised a perfect system for extracting s*** from the population, whilst his descendant is doing his best to pump it back into our homes.

Very little watched here also, just some of the older repeats i hate to admit but that's where the 'quality' programmes are unfortunately. Nobodt springs readily to mind as making anything worth watching these days.....David Attenborough excluded.....

Have to say Edward I do like Stephen Fry's analogy.....pretty much spot on I think
