I looked at strawberry plants earlier today also. Picked myself up two pink azealas, will plant them later by an small purple Rhododenron. Oh. yes, it's very wet out there right now and kind of coldish in ways. My tulips stayed inside themselves today...wanted to keep warm I guess. Well, out and about to see what's on Tv tonight.. Started taking some herbals to keep down inflamatories in the body today, coming into spring..allergy season...herbals are ususally compatible with all other drugs....but vitmins do wonders also... Talk later on. |

According to lore, back in 1840, James Pimm had an oyster bar in the heart of the city in London and his clientele was flocking to sample an new drink he blended on the premises. By 1859, Mr. Pimm was bottling his famous drink and distrubuting it throughout England. Well, it made it across the ocean, and New Orleanians, most off whom like to drink anything at any time of the day, added it to their repertorie. From what I gather there are several versions, numbered from 1 to 7, with No. 1 cup, which is gin based being the most common. Receipe...Fill a tall glass with crushed ice and add 1 1/2 ounces of Pimm's Cup No. 1...add 1 1/2 ounces of sweet and sour mix...stir to blend throughly..add an splash of lemon-lime soda such as 7 up or Sprite...garnish with an slice of cucumber wedge...5 to 6 inches long cut lengthwise. Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 19:38 on 7th April 2013 Good morning everyone....we had an wind storm go through and I see it torn the heck out of my tarp we had covered over the shed out back. I don' tknow what to think abou tthis mid week...North Korea says they are going to practice shooting off rockets...and one can only wonder in what direction....but John Wells last night says he's picking up "talk" of civil war here being started soon, our hispanics..or the white guys simply tired of being taken down these days.... and that kind of surprises me on that also. Texasans think they are being targeted, but I do suppose they'd feel that way after killing Kennedy in the past and the "Bush" family terrorism. I read in another web site the other day to beware of them installing preimier Jeb Bush for our next President if we aren't careful...but then they also say that Obama doesn't have to step out of office if there's an war started either...he can stay if there's an "state of emergency" declared. Rumors will be rumors...but if there's smoke some place, you can't help but wonder where the fire is at...or what it's really all about. I'm still hobbling around on my twisted ankle..it feels an bit better as I've been rubbing aspercreme into it and killing out the pain, but not getting much done otherwise. Tacoma Fault just had an small quake..need to go an find out what that is all about so talk later on...didn't feel it here. |
