Hi there Ruth, lovely to see you too!

A whipround is when everyone chips in with some cash to try to make up the sum of money required!  (If any of us have any spare, Smile

Well, James, now that I've changed my avatar to refresh Ron's memory, I guess no one will want to contribute to the whiparound.  Now everyone will know that I'm filthy rich because only the filthy rich can run for office.  LOL!

Hello...nice Sunday dinner of meat loaf and an nice short nap..feeling better already, getting of my ankle...I see it's downpour raining also...but suppose to go away in 24 hours.

Ruth aren't  you close enough to go gold mining in the mountains?...I'm reading where they just found nearly pure gold bars off an ship went down off of Florida. Kind of put Spain's golden days to rest.  I just barely squeezed by with income taxes this year...supposedly he upped the amount of his holding money back, so we won't be in this position next year..my next course is saving the next 3 plus months Social Security checks for property taxes this year. Probably year four or five now that I don't even think of having an vacation except one night some where close by. Someday...I look forward to someday... If it ever comes around...until then I can look at the pictures here in POE I guess. Some billionaire wants to help us out though... an build an real Jurraisc Park. I'm not sure what he means by "real"...raises an eyebrow sceptically.  Say if you want to see an delighful movie...go see "The Croods"..they just realeased it not to long ago. Its animated..but very realistic and funny. Someone really did some thinking on this one. Getting dark out now...so checking what's going to be on coast tonight and jump in my nightgown I think...get me an cup of tea. Talk tomarrow sometime.

Who was maggie, if I might ask...I see Annette Funicello..old time Mickeymousecateer for Disneyland in the 50's onward passed away also at age 70. Well known with Dick Clark and the "Beach" movies of that era. Really bad night for me also and was up half  the night sick to my stomach and with an touch of dsyentary. Still have an bit of an headache also. It's noon here and I'm just getting started. I felt like something signifcant was going on last night that wasn't very good news...thought maybe an earthquake....but just all kinds of deaths reported today from yesterday. Irish actor died also, but was 86..played part roles on Tv..ususally an judge. As soon as I can pull myserlf together again, will return. 14 inches of snow up on top of Mt. Hood yesterday with the wild storm going through. Everything here is very "soaked" outside...my tulips closed up lock, stock , and barrelas they say in blooming...just instant "stop" going on. Talk later on.

Hi everyone!  Internet problems all day again!  Grrrr!  I wonder what is going on?

Glad to hear you have sunshine in the UK and so sorry to hear you are expecting yet more snow Richard, when will it come to an end this year?  I am really hoping this doesn't mean we are going to have a long cold winter too!

And Yay, I have my star - so I can dare to show my face around here!
