Who does he think he is kidding, a derisory 1d cheaper for a pint!

Think about it, a drinker goes to pub and has (if he's really lucky and can afford it at £3.00 a pint) 5 or 6 pints throughout the evening. He/she is going to save (lol) 5 or 6p and if he/she can afford several nights at the pub he/she might save less than 50 pence a week, what a joker...

Hey, I've had a great night.....saved 6p! Yippeeee!!

The truth is he/she won't even consider it so Mr Osborne you are a 'plonker' of Del Boy proportions. You would have been thought more of had you not even mentioned beer.

Stop giving our money away to Europe and third world Countries and we will be out oif the s..t in a couple of years!

What say you members?

This has got to be a joke who is going to knock 1p off a pint -where i go a pint of bitter is £2 a pint and there was talk last week of it going up to £2-12 a pint --its the brewers who are benefiting out of it.Smile

Vince in my locality there are 12 pubs closed down within the last 3 years peoples drinking habits have changed --the brewerys and landlords have brought all this on their self---the only bad thing to come out of it is they are being converted to flats for you know who.??it dont take a blindman to see this.Wink

Goodnight for now.

Lets be honest, unless you go with 'see a penny pick it up and all day long you'll have good luck'... You wouldn't even bother to bend down to pick it up would you, so why does he think a penny off a pint of beer is going to do anybody any good whatsoever?

And then you get this 'Balls' bloke saying what he would do on TV this morning just to wind us up. He cares not to mention that it was his lot that part got us into this mess in the first place!

Rodney....you Plonkers!

Too true, Ron, let us not forget that Balls was Gordon Brown's financial adviser for many years....and how we all loved Gordon (not)...hence Michael Heseltine's witty comment quite a few years ago about Brown's budget 'It's not Brown's, its all Balls'

Due to the illegal mexicans stealing every ounce of copper in the city wiring system..they should be upping "Copper" any day now..if it's an REAL copper penney..make one of those flat rings out of the penny and keep it...might be worth more later on.

Salem, Oregon where they grow "hops" fo rmaking beer some guy came up with an derivitive from the hops he says works better then prescription pain killers for any kind of pain out there and won't create an reaction against any other prescription  drugs they give an person and stops "Asprin" poisioning. Listen to "coast" and you can find out how to order it.

Is this saying some of your bartenders are pouring beer with to big an suds on top and the patrons think it's cheating?
