Not normally here for a few more days during the month of April but it does mean that we are now going to get the sunshine, because the Cuckoo doesn't arrive until he knows it's going to be warm.

And no James it wasn't the Cuckoo clock in the Hallway!

If that's your stamping ground Ruth a lot of my paternal family were from the same area.  Around the 1900's they ran and owned the White Hart Inn!!

Marsden is just a few miles from us Cathy, we are just a little further North in Calderdale. There was however a White Hart Inn about 100 yards up the road from us until a few years ago when it was converted into cottages. Everything around here gets bunched together into one big area "moors".

The Shoulder of Mutton & Silent Woman in Slaithwaite, the Globe in Stainland & Lindley, the Elephant & Castle in Huddersfield (The Globe in Lindley has been converted also & the Elephant & Castle was demolished) were also in the family!  A heritage of Inn Keepers & Butchers!  Laughing
