So here goes: The washing machine finishes it's cycle and the dear lady isn't around so I hang the washing on the line. She arrives home, looks out the kitchen window saying nothing, walks to the line and starts pegging it differently. It's either in the wrong place, upside down, pegged in the wrong place, not facing into the wind, too close to the bush etc. In the past I have ironed clothes for her, folded them up and put them in the airing cupboard only to find that she sneaks a look and moves them into different heaps eg; Pillow cases here, sheets there, table cloths...grrrrgh! But it gets worse because I can't even fold the b...y bath towels correctly for her. They have to be folded a particular way! For me in half and then half again, once more to get them to a reasonable size seems reasonable, but oh no not for Mrs b.....y pernickety! This morning I emptied the dishwasher after it had done it's business. Put the plates in the cupboard (in the wrong order of course), the cups in the cupboard in the wrong place (because we use these cups more than those) now I'm really getting ***** **! I pull the b....y curtains or turn the vertical blinds whilst she's out and the first thing she does when she comes in is adjust them "because I like them like that" grrrrrrrrgh! Do any of you other blokes suffer this way and is there a POE lady out there that would like a 'house trained man'?

I don't iron, ever, David does it if anything needs doing, so we tend to hang the washing on the line for minimum creasing, minimun peg marks, and in such a fashion that it can just be folded and put back in the drawers. As for the curtains/blinds, well I don't go around re-arranging them, but don't ever put a spoon in the drawer facing the wrong way |

Growing up in a military family,, my mum has everthing in every place,no touchy !! and she always put the pegs in the same spot every time,(i took photos ,so when cleaning,,everything was in place when i had to dust!) i heard Nancy Reagan liked her staff to do the same, when she was in the White House !! lol |

Yes, I've had some of that as well! lol Oh and then there's the strips/packs of tablets. Because we are on regular medication I get a flea in the ear if I dare break them out of the middle of the pack or anywhere, but where it keeps them tidy! And Rick, Anna uses certain pegs for the bath towels (being heavier) and different pegs for say tea towels, that are much lighter of course and you know what she all but recognises them! You know she will stand there sorting them out I want that one, these, no not those they are weak and so on...unbelievable! A question is looming, is Anna a control freak? lol Ha, good job she hasn't seen this thread yet.

You know, put it there, back a bit, no leave it because I can't read it like that so for once she she sits down and watches the television that I turned on and immediately changes channels! James I do think your other half should read your posts and you would be looking for lodgings |
