With the wait of 77 years since Fred Perry's chamiomship, playing on the 7th of the 7th a player born 7 days apart from him---his destiny written in the numbers.....?? |

What for, he has won a few games of b....y tennis and has previously played badly at that! He cried because he wasn't upto it previously! He got lucky yesterday in my opinion, his chance had to come one day, but wait and see what happens next, he'll probably be beaten by someone as yet unheard of. This country really has gone to the dogs when we have to consider giving those who choose to play sport for a living a Knighthood. |

Everytime you switch the television on he is stuffed down your throat. And now Cameron says he can't think of anyone who better deserves a Knighthood, and to that I say caste your eyes to those who have served this country well in war and to those who uncovered the child abuse in North Wales and so on! You need to get real Mr Cameron, you are out of touch with the public who are not stupid! No good you saying things for effect.

I like all our sports people & teams to win everything, even if I don't like the sport myself |

Not my favourite sport by any means but gotta agree Mike we should back him.....all the way just like to country got behind Wiggins when he became the first English rider to WIN the Tour de France last year.. As to him saying that does not deserve a knighthood let's just see if when it comes round will he remember his words and decline it...... Knighthoods are not given, they are offered ! ! ! ! |
